It is easy to forget to look around and to look up. See what you could be missing. It is this majesty that helps to make this spot such a wonder. The power is there to be felt and experienced. Do make the effort to experience it while you make your way along the rocky shoreline. Try to sense the heiau and the wooden tikis that once stood there. The Heiau was in three levels. The area at the oceanside was the heiau proper, with six little terraces between it and the Halau Hula up against the pali.
