At about 100 yards from the parking lot the path turns inland. Were you to continue along the shoreline you would reach Kilioe. Let that wait until your return when the more level walk will contrast with the uphill hike now facing you. You will be walking up the path of a water freshlet during the dry times. The original path is currently strewn with trees and debris and is not passable (February, 2000.) Consider the aspect of many dancers from many halau awaiting their turn to dance in this magnificent Halau Hula.
