Name:Dance Drum (Pahu Hula) Origin: Hawaiian Islands Artist: Unknown Description: Most drums for dancing, especially male dancing, were made from the trunks of coconut trees and were about this size or a little larger. Like the big temple drums, these were constructed with heads made from sharkskin. They were called pahu hula, meaning "dance drum."
