THE HAWAIIAN ART MUSEUM ONLINE

MUSEUM FLOORPLAN

Welcome to Serge Kahili King's private museum of art and artifacts from Hawaii, Africa, Oceana, Asia and the Americas. The building above is artist Ralph Adamson's drawing of the original Hawaiian Art Museum at Kilauea on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. The museum pictured above existed as a physical focal point for art and culture from late 1987 to early 1998. For a time there was a second museum in Kapaa, which closed after the 1992 hurricane, and for a time the main museum was at the Kilauea Theater, the Princeville Shopping Center, and finally downtown Kapaa. The last site was closed in 2005.

Currently, some of the best artifacts and display cases are located at Hale Huna, the Aloha International center in Volcano Village on the Big Island.
