The steamboat Ticonderoga is America's last remaining side paddlewheel passenger steamer with a vertical beam engine. It was saved from destruction and brought overland from Lake Champlain to the museum grounds in 1954.

This is the central lounge area. The Ticonderoga carried freight, passengers, soldiers and gamblers from 1906 until she was taken out of the water.

This jail from Castleton was built in 1890 and was like a fortress. It was mostly constructed of slate reinforced with railroad irons.

Michael is a dead ringer for any criminal unlucky enough to have been locked up in this jail.
