This is one of the most famous landmarks in the world and it is also a place of power because it is also a volcanic crater. Diamond Head supposedly got its name in 1825 when some sailors found crystals that they thought were diamonds. The stories differ as to whether the crystals were quartz or calcite, both of which are found on Oahu. The Hawaiian name for Diamond Head is Leahi, a name of uncertain meaning.

To see it, go to Honolulu.
