PU'U LOA

At The Boardwalk

return to Hawaii Page or Go To Next Picture

Eventually you will arive at a circular boardwalk designed to protect the petroglyphs from too many tramping feet. At this place petroglyphs abound on either side of the boardwalk. However, as mentioned by others, there is nothing overtly physical that distinguishes this location from many others that have never been used for the carvings. And yet, the ancient carvers apparently would rather carve images on top of each other at this location than at others that look the same to the Western eye. If you are sensitive to energy fields you might want to experiment with comparing locations by that method.
